LYDA & JACK’S COTTON BARN WEDDING
A NOVEMBER WEDDING AT THE COTTON BARN AT BROCK’S FARM
Lyda and Jack celebrated their November wedding at The Cotton Barn at Brock’s Farm in Winterville, North Carolina, surrounded by friends and family who traveled from across the country to be there with them.
Set on a working farm just outside Greenville, The Cotton Barn gave their day plenty of open space and countryside scenery while keeping the entire celebration in one place. Their wedding had a classic fall feel, with emerald green bridesmaid dresses, black suits, white florals, and a day centered around the people closest to them. Brock's Family Farm
THE MORNING OF THE WEDDING
Lyda spent the morning getting ready with her 11 bridesmaids and family, while Jack and the guys had a slower start to the day. Before the ceremony, the two exchanged gifts separately, giving them a chance to share something personal while still saving the first time they saw each other for the aisle.
When Lyda walked down the aisle, Jack’s reaction said everything. It was one of those moments where you could see just how much the day meant to them — and to everyone surrounding them.
GOLDEN HOUR AT THE COTTON BARN
After the ceremony and plenty of energy with their wedding party, Lyda and Jack stepped out onto the open grounds at Brock’s Farm as the sun started to set.
The wide fields gave us plenty of room to move and let the two of them have a little time together away from the celebration. Rather than making every photograph feel perfectly posed, we focused on movement, connection, and giving them space to enjoy being newly married.
A RECEPTION CENTERED AROUND THEIR PEOPLE
The celebration continued inside with speeches, dances, and a packed dance floor. One of the most meaningful moments of the reception came when Lyda surprised her mom with a dance — a moment that quickly became emotional for both of them and the people watching.
That was something that carried throughout Lyda and Jack’s entire wedding: their people mattered. From the friends and family who traveled to celebrate with them to the moments they intentionally created throughout the day, their wedding felt just as much about sharing the experience with the people they love as it did about the two of them.
And once the formalities were over, everyone made their way to the dance floor to finish the night celebrating.
